OSJCT Chilterns Court care home rated Good by CQC

Chilterns Court Care Centre has been awarded a 'Good' rating following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in October 2024.
Joanna Dowejko, Chilterns Court Home Manager, said: “We are delighted that our latest CQC inspection has rated us 'Good'. It is a privilege to care for our residents, many of whom live with advanced dementia. We are a close and dedicated team and we take pride in making Chilterns Court a very special place to be.
Inspectors reported that: ‘The service had a management team who worked well together’, ‘observations confirmed staff were kind, compassionate and caring’, ‘People and relatives told us the service was well-led and they knew the management team’, ‘Staff reviewed risk regularly and updated care records appropriately.
During the CQC visit, residents and their relatives shared their thoughts with the inspectors, and the report found that ‘Relatives said staff were caring and kind.’ A resident said: “I feel very safe living here. I say that because they [staff] are very kind and they look after me very well.”
Chilterns Court’s previous inspection in April 2019 rated the service Good in all areas. This latest inspection confirms that the service continues to provide high quality care.
