The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) is inviting local residents to a free Care Fair at the Adderbury Institute on Tuesday 9 September 2025, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

The event is open to everyone, wherever they may be on their care journey, offering families and individuals the opportunity to ask questions, explore care options and access expert advice about the wide range of support available in Oxfordshire.

Visitors will be able to meet representatives from OSJCT care homes including Lake House, Larkrise Care Centre, and Henry Cornish Care Centre, as well as from the Trust’s extra care housing scheme, Orchard Meadows. The day will also feature a highlight session with OSJCT Admiral Nurse Emma, who will provide specialist guidance on dementia care.

The Care Fair will provide a welcoming and open space where local people can explore the support available to them, no matter their stage of need. Alongside OSJCT’s team, families will be able to engage directly with a wide range of care professionals, advisers, and community organisations, gaining clarity and confidence when making decisions about care.

The event will also bring together respected organisations including Home Instead, Bluebird Care, SOLLA (Society of Later Life Advisers), Dementia Oxfordshire, Age UK Oxfordshire, Dementia Active, and Carers Oxfordshire. Collectively, these groups will provide valuable information, resources, and signposting services to ensure families can access the right support at the right time.

By hosting the Care Fair, OSJCT and its partners aim to highlight the importance of collaboration in supporting older people and their families, while strengthening local networks and sharing best practice in care.
