OSJCT sponsors Oxfordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes Annual General Meeting
OSJCT had the pleasure of sponsoring the Oxfordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes (WI) Annual General Meeting on March 19 at Worton Hall in Cassington, bringing together representatives from 117 WI groups, with a total of 250 attendees across the county.

The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) had the pleasure of sponsoring the Oxfordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes (WI) Annual General Meeting on March 19 at Worton Hall in Cassington. The event brought together representatives from 117 WI groups, with a total of 250 attendees across the county.
OSJCT attendees included Ali Borath, Local Marketing Executive, alongside Home Managers Angela Champ from Spencer Court and Alexandra Grindle from Lake House. As event sponsors, OSJCT engaged with delegates during the day, discussing the Trust’s services, particularly respite and day care. The event also provided an excellent opportunity to promote home events and activities, network with attendees, and explore potential collaborations with the WI.
The Annual Meeting celebrated the WI’s achievements over the past year, recognising significant milestones across Oxfordshire branches. A highlight of the day was an inspiring talk by Sally Scott, former High Sheriff of Oxfordshire and His Majesty’s Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, who spoke about her career and her work with women’s charities.
Reflecting on the event, Alexandra Grindle shared: “It was a pleasure to meet so many inspiring individuals and to learn more about the fantastic work the WI do. The synergies between our organisations are clear, and we look forward to building on this partnership in the future.”
OSJCT extends its gratitude to everyone who made the event so special and looks forward to more events and collaboration with the Oxfordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes.
