We are delighted to announce the appointment of Patricia Pita as the new Home Manager at Langford View Care Home in Bicester.
The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) is delighted to announce the appointment of Patricia Pita as the new Home Manager at Langford View Care Home in Bicester.
Patricia steps into the role at an important time for Langford View, bringing with her a proven track record of compassionate leadership and a clear vision for delivering outstanding care. With over 20 years of nursing experience, including 14 years in the care sector, she combines clinical expertise with a warm, approachable style that empowers both residents and colleagues.
Patricia joined OSJCT as a Unit Lead at Isis House in Oxford before progressing to Deputy Manager in 2020. In 2025, her dedication and strong leadership were recognised with her promotion to Home Manager at Langford View.
She also holds dual nurse registration, with both a Nursing Degree and postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing. This unique combination allows her to meet both physical and emotional needs, ensuring residents receive holistic, person-centred care.
Patricia said: “I am honoured to take on the role of Home Manager at Langford View. My focus is on engaging with our residents, their families, and our colleagues to create a supportive, open, and inclusive environment where everyone feels heard and valued. I also look forward to strengthening Langford View’s links with the Bicester community and building strong, positive relationships that residents and their families can truly trust.”
To celebrate Patricia’s appointment and give the community an opportunity to get to know her and her team, Langford View will be hosting a “Meet the Team” Open Evening on Wednesday 22 October from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Guests are warmly invited to come along, enjoy cheese and wine, and meet Patricia and the dedicated team at the home.
Patricia’s appointment marks a fresh chapter for Langford View. Her commitment to listening, collaboration, and community engagement will be central to her leadership, ensuring the home continues to provide the highest quality of care while becoming an active and trusted part of the local community.
