Wellford Gardens Lottie Top 100 Award

The UK’s top 100 care homes for 2026 have just been announced by online care finder Lottie, and Wellford Gardens located in Wheatley, is proud to be included on the list.

The care home is run by not-for-profit care provider The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT), which has also been recognised for the second year running as one of the UK's Top 10 Large Care Providers in the Lottie Awards.

Now in their second year, the Lottie Awards recognise and celebrate care homes across the UK that demonstrate exceptional commitment to residents and families. Lottie's team conducted a comprehensive, data-driven review of every published care home listing on its platform, assessing them against the criteria that matter most to families when choosing care, including independent regulator ratings, enquiry handling, facilities and activities, the quality of each home's online listing, and verified family reviews.

Home Manager, Rachel Joyce said:

Receiving this award is a testament to the commitment, compassion and dedication of our incredible team at Wellford Gardens. Being recognised as one of the UK's Top 100 Care Homes is a fantastic achievement, and we are absolutely delighted to receive this honour from Lottie. Achievements like these are only possible because of every single member of our team, whose hard work, kindness and passion make Wellford Gardens the special place it is. This recognition belongs to each and every one of them. I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such an inspiring team, and I am grateful that we continue this journey together, striving every day to provide outstanding care and support for our residents and their families.

Will Donnelly, Co-Founder and CEO of Lottie, added:

The Lottie Awards are about recognising the incredible dedication of care professionals who make a real difference in people's lives every day. To be named among the Top 100 from more than 14,000 care homes across the UK is a huge achievement. These care homes are not just meeting residents' needs; they're redefining later living by creating vibrant and supportive communities that deliver exceptional care and experiences.
