Over the four-day celebrations the residents and team enjoyed an indoor street party which saw the corridors decorated with union jack bunting and a party for everyone.

Residents visited the local youth club where they watched a talent contest and were part of the judging panel, there were some great acts!

The food over the weekend was spectacular with residents enjoying fish and chips in traditional newspaper, a variety of homemade cakes, a roast dinner and afternoon tea with friends and family.

In the Autumn Edwardstow Court will be taking part in The Queen’s Green Canopy which is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. The initiative invites people from across the United Kingdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”. The tree will planted at the home in October and will be enjoyed for the next 70 years.
