Residents at The Lakes recently enjoyed an interesting and informative visit from Richard from the Cotswold Lakes Trust, who came along to share more about the Trust and its important work within the local community.
During his visit, Richard spoke to residents about the area’s beautiful lakes, the wildlife they support and the importance of protecting and preserving these valuable natural environments.
The talk provided residents with an opportunity to learn more about the local area, while also encouraging plenty of conversation and reminiscing. Residents enjoyed listening to Richard’s insights and were keen to ask questions and share their own memories and experiences.
The Cotswold Lakes Trust plays an important role in caring for and enhancing the lakes and their surrounding environments, helping to ensure these wonderful spaces can be enjoyed by local communities and future generations.
It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the natural environment on The Lakes doorstep and celebrate the fantastic work being carried out within the local community.
