Travelling from Great Bedwyn to Crofton, the group soaked up the sunshine, admired the picturesque countryside and shared plenty of laughter along the way. For resident Pru, the adventure felt like travelling "to America and back" a comment that brought smiles to everyone on board.

As the journey unfolded, Geoff carefully counted all 10 locks they passed through, while Brenda and Dot were already making plans for their next canal adventure before this one had even ended.

Of course, no British day out would be complete without a few cups of tea, with everyone enjoying refreshments as they relaxed and took in the peaceful surroundings.

The trip offered a wonderful opportunity to spend time outdoors, reminisce, make new memories and enjoy each other's company in a truly unique setting.
