Residents from Windsor Street Head to the Pantomime! Oh, Yes They Did!
The pantomime is a British institution and residents from Windsor Street headed to see Beauty and the Beast to kickstart as part of their Christmas celebrations.
Most theatres are showing a panto at this time of year, and Windsor Street residents headed to The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury for a contemporary adaptation of the classic fairytale, with added dame. Full of catchy musical numbers and hilarious jokes and comedic moments, there was something for everyone. We’ve all come away remembering that true beauty is what’s on the inside.
The Roses Theatre is an arts centre determined to fill lives with the joy of the shared experience of theatre and live performances. They certainly accomplished that for our residents on this occasion! It was an unforgettable experience, and one we’ll be talking about for a long time to come. Being able to support another charity just added to the experience for our group of theatre-goers.
Of course, we picked up a couple of what’s on guides so we can plan some more trips in the new year!
What do you call an out-of-breath clown?
A pantomime.
