Ridgeway House community goes the extra mile to raise £930 for residents

Residents, relatives and colleagues at OSJCT Ridgeway House came together in an inspiring display of community spirit as they completed a fundraising challenge that has already raised an incredible £930 for the home's Residents' Amenity Fund.

Leading the way were colleagues Jane, Claire, Ali, Julie, Danielle, Natalie, Andy, Harry and Tyler, who successfully completed a half marathon walk. They were cheered on throughout the morning by the ever-supportive Pete, who proudly accompanied the team on his mobility scooter, encouraging everyone along the route.

The fundraising efforts continued back at Ridgeway House, where residents and their families completed an impressive 100 laps of the home's garden, while members of staff went even further by completing an incredible 300 laps.

The event brought together people of all ages, demonstrating the strong sense of community that makes Ridgeway House such a special place. Every step taken reflected the home's commitment to creating meaningful experiences and enriching the lives of residents.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who took part, as well as the residents' loved ones who joined the challenge and supported the fundraising efforts. Their enthusiasm and generosity have helped make the event a tremendous success.

With £930 raised so far, the money will be used to enhance the Residents' Amenity Fund, helping to provide new activities, special outings and memorable experiences for everyone living at Ridgeway House.

Donations are still welcome, and anyone wishing to support the appeal can do so by visiting the JustGiving fundraising page. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help create even more special moments for residents.

Congratulations to everyone involved on an outstanding achievement and a fantastic example of what can be accomplished when a community comes together.
