The Lakes Care Centre recently welcomed a team of volunteers from RWE Technology as part of a corporate volunteering day, making a wonderful difference to the home’s outdoor spaces.
On one of the hottest days of the year, the volunteers spent the morning repainting planters, re-staining benches and adding colourful touches to the gardens for residents to enjoy. They also helped spruce up the grounds by tidying and cutting back overgrown plants, helping to create an even more welcoming environment.
After their hard work, the team enjoyed refreshments, lunch and well-deserved ice creams with staff. As a thank you for their support and dedication, the volunteers were presented with flowers and multiple bottles of wine.
The Lakes Care Centre is incredibly grateful to everyone from RWE Technology who gave their time and energy to help enhance the gardens, creating a beautiful outdoor space for residents, families and visitors to enjoy.
