Southfield House care home, in Spalding, has been re-awarded a Good rating following an inspection by Care Quality Commission (CQC). Inspectors visited the specialist dementia care home in December 2023.

The inspection examined various elements of the service offered at Southfield House and found that the service was well-led, and offers high-quality, person-centred care, supported learning and innovation and promoted an open, fair culture. 

The report also included comments from relatives of residents such as: "I can't fault the home; the staff are wonderful. I've never heard a cross word being said.” "All family members are welcome to parties etc. They make it more like a home than an institution."

Elaine Whittle, Home Manager, said: “I am absolutely delighted that Southfield House has been re-awarded a Good CQC result at our recent inspection, I am very proud of the whole team. We all take pride in creating a family atmosphere for our residents.”
