Thank You to our friends at The Castle School
Our residents and team were thrilled with their Christmas treats
Everyone at Grace Care Centre would like to say a huge thank you to The Castle School in Thornbury for the thoughtful boxes of treats they donated to the home over the festive period.
Mrs Mary-Anne Willmott, who teaches Religious Studies at the school, helped to organise a group of year 7 pupils who put these wonderful boxes of presents together.
Each of the boxes contained a range of delightful treats that included chocolates, bath bombs, teas, and sweets. They brought a smile to the faces of everyone at Grace Care Centre who were touched that the school had thought of them.
As a special thank you, residents at Grace Care Centre dedicated one of their crafting activities to produce a bespoke thank you banner for everyone involved at The Castle School.
Jamie Jones, Deputy Home Manager at Grace Care Centre, said: “We were all overwhelmed with the generosity shown by The Castle School with these gifts. Maintaining strong connections with the local community is a crucial value that we hold at Grace Care Centre. Our relationship with The Castle School is very important to us and we look forward to doing more with them in the local community in the months ahead.”
