Residents, colleagues and families at the home were delighted to welcome Mark and George, two Trustees from the Order of St John Care Trust (OSJCT), for a special visit celebrating the vibrant community at the heart of the home.
During their visit, Mark and George spent time meeting residents, colleagues and relatives, gaining a first-hand insight into daily life and the meaningful relationships that make the home such a special place to live and work.
The Trustees joined residents for an engaging session of word games, sharing conversations, laughter and friendly competition, before enjoying lunch in the home's private dining room alongside members of the management team. The visit provided an important opportunity to showcase the home's mission and vision, highlighting the exceptional person-centred care, enriching activities and welcoming environment that residents experience every day. It also allowed colleagues to share the positive impact that strong connections between residents, families, staff and the wider Trust have on creating a thriving and supportive community.
