Residents at Edwardstow Court enjoyed a memorable afternoon of nostalgia when they welcomed Troopers Lodge Motor Services for a special visit with a beautifully restored vintage bus and an elegant classic Rolls-Royce.

The stunning vehicles quickly became the centre of attention, with residents delighted to step back in time as they admired the craftsmanship and shared stories of family holidays, day trips, first cars and journeys from years gone by. The visit sparked animated conversations and plenty of smiles as treasured memories were brought back to life.

Experiencing classic vehicles is a wonderful way to encourage reminiscence, helping residents connect with their personal histories while sharing stories with friends, relatives and colleagues. These meaningful moments support wellbeing and create opportunities for conversation, laughter and connection.

The vintage bus is also well known for operating The Number 11 Vintage Bus Service, giving passengers the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Cotswolds aboard a lovingly restored heritage vehicle.
