Wellford Gardens in Wheatley recently welcomed members of the local community to a special celebration marking the Lunar New Year and introducing the home’s management team. The evening, held at the Park Hill residence, gave the guests the opportunity to connect with many of our Heads of Departments and new leadership team, learn more about their vision for the future of care at Wellford Gardens. It was a great chance to put faces to names and strengthen the relationships that make our community together with residents, families and colleagues for an elegant evening of culture, music and hospitality. 

Set against festive decorations symbolising renewal and prosperity, guests enjoyed the gentle sounds of a live pianist, a curated tasting of Chinese-inspired dishes, and a traditional Chinese tea tasting experience. The event was thoughtfully designed to celebrate the Lunar New Year while showcasing the home’s welcoming environment and commitment to exceptional care.

Wellford Gardens provides specialist dementia care, residential dementia care, nursing care for older people, intermediate care services, and day care for older people. The home combines beautifully designed facilities with a compassionate, highly skilled team dedicated to person-centred support.
