Westbury Court awarded Good CQC rating
The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) is pleased to announce that Westbury Court in Westbury on Severn, has been awarded a ‘Good’ rating by the independent regulator of health and social care services in England, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Following an inspection in February, Westbury Court was assessed as being ‘Good’ across five main areas of its service, including how caring, safe, effective, responsive and well-led the home was.
In a report published in April the inspector commented “People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. The policies and systems in the service supported this practice”.
Jerry James, Home Manager at Westbury Court said, “It's been an amazing effort from the whole team, we are all really proud of the report and I’m really proud of the team!”.
Janet Pannell, Assistant Regional Director comments: “We’re delighted that Westbury Court has been recognised for their commitment to enhancing and improving the lives of residents in our care. My thanks go to the team at Westbury Court for the positive impact they have on the lives of our residents and the care they continue to show to them every day.”
