Whitefriars resident praises care at COVID-19 Designated Unit
Violet shares her admiration for Unit which closes this month.
Violet Baxter became a patient at the COVID-19 Designated Unit, run by OSJCT at Apple Trees care home, in March before moving to Whitefriars in Stamford earlier this month. Speaking of her care at the Designated Unit, Violet said: “The care was fantastic and unwavering. I am full of praise for the team who were looking after me and several others, multi-tasking during a difficult period.”
Since settling in to Whitefriars in Stamford, Violet has been able to meet with her daughter and take phone calls from friends asking about her. She added: “Living at Whitefriars is like being at home, I have my home comforts and special photographs and lovely carers who help me nothing is too much trouble.”
Violet, who has fully recovered from COVID-19, enjoys joining in with activities and sharing stories from her life with the team at the care home.
