Colleagues at OSJCT Willowcroft are being celebrated this Professional Care Workers Week, recognising the dedication, compassion and kindness they bring to residents every day.
To mark the week, Home Manager Carol Wootton surprised colleagues with a small gift as a personal thank you for everything they do.
Professional Care Workers Week provides an opportunity to shine a light on the people at the heart of social care and recognise the skill, commitment and compassion involved in supporting people to live fulfilling lives.
At Willowcroft, Carol was keen to make sure her team knew just how valued they are.
Carol said:
I know a gift doesn’t come close to showing how much I appreciate everything the team does, but it’s just a little way of saying thank you.
I see the hard work, patience, kindness and love the team gives to our residents every single day. I’m so proud of the team we have at Willowcroft and feel very lucky to work alongside such caring and lovely people.
Thank you for everything you do, not just this week, but every single day. You really are appreciated.
