Residents and colleagues at OSJCT Willowcroft are helping to shine a light on two important health topics this September by supporting Sepsis Awareness Month and World Alzheimer’s Month.
The team has created a special awareness window filled with helpful information, encouraging residents, families, visitors and members of the local community to stop, take a look and learn more.
Raising awareness can make a real difference. Understanding the signs and symptoms of sepsis can help people recognise when urgent medical attention may be needed, while World Alzheimer’s Month provides an important opportunity to increase understanding of dementia, challenge stigma and encourage conversations about how we can better support people living with the condition and those closest to them.
At Willowcroft, creating an informed, compassionate and supportive community is an important part of everyday life.
If you’re visiting us during September, take a moment to have a read of our awareness window and help us spread the word.
Together, greater awareness can lead to greater understanding, earlier action and better support.
