At Windsor Street, we believe that life should be filled with joy, laughter, and often that means celebrating special moments. Last week, our residents embraced the excitement of Ladies Day at Cheltenham Races, bringing all the glamour and fun of the event into our home.

A Day of Elegance and Creativity

Ladies Day is all about stunning outfits and fabulous headwear, and our ladies are certainly stylish and glamourous! So, our residents got creative, and our Knit & Natter group made beautiful headpieces to mark the occasion. With ribbons, flowers, feathers, and sequins, there was something for everyone, and a whole host of unique headwear that reflected each sense of style. It was a wonderful opportunity for our craft-loving residents to put their skills to use.

Crafting sessions like these are an important part of life at Windsor Street; they allow residents to keep up with hobbies they love, while also encouraging social interaction and creativity. We encourage our residents to stay active, social, and most importantly, happy. Whether it’s a love for crafting, watching sports, or dressing up for a special occasion, we make sure there’s something for everyone to enjoy.  

Bringing the Races to Our Home

Of course, no Ladies Day would be complete without the thrill of the races! Residents gathered together to watch the action on screen, enjoying the buzz of the crowd and cheering on their favourite horses. Some even made friendly wagers (just for fun!) to add to the excitement and we all enjoyed a lively afternoon party with a glass of wine and some sweet treats.
