Jennie has lived at Windsor Street Care Centre for over three years now, which means she knows a thing or two about our home! From the activities to the food to the care she receives, Jennie shared her thoughts about everything you might need to know if you’re thinking about moving to Windsor Street. 

Jennie’s favourite thing about our home? “Definitely the care we receive. Everyone is so kind and chatty, and I always feel listened to and looked after. I’ve got two daughters, and the team at Windsor Street are great at communicating with them and responding quickly to any adjustments which need to be made to my care.”

One thing Jennie particularly loves about living at Windsor Street is her bedroom, which looks out over the beautiful garden. “I’ve never been a keen gardener myself. When I lived in my own home, my husband did the gardening, but I love being able to look out on such a lovely view. I’ve got my own bathroom too which is fantastic.”

Jennie also enjoys the food at Windsor Street, particularly the variety of different options available each day, and fish and chip Fridays. Jennie also enjoys joining in with some of the activities on offer, and likes the fact she can pick and choose whether to join an activity or relax, depending on how she’s feeling.
