Woof-tastic Fun at Coombe End Court's Second Annual Dog Show!
Residents and the team at Coombe End Court in Marlborough unleashed their inner dog lovers for a paws-itively fun-filled event: their second annual Dog Show!
It was a day of canine celebration, all in the name of raising funds for the residents' amenities fund.
The event featured a variety of classes, ensuring there was a place for every four-legged friend to strut their stuff. From the dapper 'Handsome Dude' and glamorous 'Gorgeous Gal' categories to the impressive 'Best Trick' showcase, every dog had the chance to shine. Cocker Spaniel, Rolo, pipped Labrador, Oscar, and Sprocker, Boris, to claim the title of Handsome Dude, with Jack Russell, Meeka, winning first place in the Gorgeous Gal category. Bella the Spaniel, and mixed breed Luna, were second and third respectively.

The 'Cutest Pup' and distinguished 'Golden Oldie' categories proved that age is just a number when it comes to canine charm. Cutest Puppy was especially hard to judge with Brook and Diesel, Cocker Spaniel puppies who had been in to visit residents with the rest of their litter, both in the line-up. After much deliberation, Diesel took the gold, Luna silver and mini Labradoodle, Hallie, the bronze.

At the other end of the age range, the Golden Oldie class was won by Gizzy the Jug, with mongrel Harry in second and Bedlington Terrier, Frank, in third.

Luna claimed the Best Trick, able to take off her owner’s socks!
Judging duties fell on the capable shoulders of Activities Coordinators Shelley and Siobhan, who had the unenviable task of choosing winners from the adorable lineup of competitors.
There were prizes galore at the raffle, an ice cream van and a cake stand offering delectable treats for owners, and a dog treats stall stocked up with goodies.
Beyond the fun and games, the event served a deeper purpose by raising important funds for the residents' amenities fund.
