The coffee shop area really is the heart of our home.  It’s a shared space, where residents from Avon Court and Bourne House can come together to have a drink and a piece of cake, take part in craft activities, or watch live entertainment, and much more.  It really is where it all happens!  It also transforms at the weekend into our ever-popular Castle Pub.

As we look to make sure our home is everything our residents want and need, we’re having a bit of a makeover.  We’ll be taking down our curved ‘map wall’ to really open up the space and give us all a lot more room for singing and dancing (which we love!) and to allow more people into the area at one time.  With more residents on households in Avon Court and Bourne House now, it will allow us to make the area much more useable.

Work will be taking place throughout September and we’re looking forward to showing you our newly decorated central space.
