You’re invited to Lake House’s Dog Day coffee mornings
Lake House has joined up with charity Dogs for Good to run monthly Dog Day coffee mornings designed to provide opportunities for therapeutic fun to those living with dementia as well as social interaction for all.
We all know how uplifting it can be to spend time with animals, and the positive impact of animal therapy for people living with dementia is well-documented. The Dog Day coffee mornings provide a regular opportunity for positive therapeutic interactions with specially trained dogs in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Perfect for people living with dementia (with or without a diagnosis) and for animal lovers of all ages, visitors can enjoy tasty refreshments and dog-themed activities in the comfortable surroundings of the home while interacting with several friendly therapy dogs and their handlers.
