St Wilfrid’s Priory Offers A Truly Unique Place To Live
Not only is St Wilfrid’s Priory a unique place to live, it is also a truly beautiful one. Set up on the hill in Arundel, beside the castle, this OSJCT care home offers residents a home like no other.
In a building like this, there is always something fascinating to admire, whether it’s the view from a bedroom or communal space, or an architectural feature inside. And the walled gardens are a wonderful place to spend some time! Even on a grey day, this is a home that shines brightly.
History isn’t something you can go and buy off the shelf somewhere. It can’t be delivered to your door, so for people who value history and how people before us have lived, this is an exciting place to be. There are some character properties that don’t have a lot of history, but St Wilfrid’s Priory has both in plentiful supply and that’s one of the key things that makes it different from any other care home.
The building has had many residents over the years, including a convent of nuns in the 19th century, and we feel honoured to be caretaking this part of the priory’s story.
Be the envy of your friends and family living in this very unusual place. Each of the rooms is unique, many with views out across the gardens to Arundel Castle, and you can really feel the history of the building as you walk around. St Wilfrid’s Priory is part of the Grade II listed castle complex.
We welcome respite visitors for shorter stays, as well as those who want to make St Wilfrid’s Priory and Arundel their permanent home. Read more information about the home on its home page.
