Cecilia Raggett
Home Manager
Kelly joined The Orders of St John Care Trust in July 2022 and became Home Manager at St Wilfrid’s Priory in November 2022. Prior to joining the Trust, Kelly spent many years working for the NHS and she brings with her a lot of clinical experience, including palliative care.
Altogether, Kelly has worked within the care industry for over 25 years and has achieved various formal qualifications in that time, including her NVQ4 which has a management qualification attached.
For Kelly, it’s vital that everybody that enters St Wilfrid’s Priory is treated with respect and dignity. She prides herself on being a caring and compassionate person and wants to share that with others through her work. Kelly finds it really rewarding being able to make such a positive difference in the lives of others.
Outside of work, Kelly loves to spend time with her family and friends, and she is a keen runner.
Handyman
Graham is the handyman at St Wilfrid's Priory and his jolly voice can often be heard around the home.
He jokes that his nickname is, "Ah, Graham!" or "Graham, can you just . . ." because his work is so varied and he's happy to help wherever he can. Graham is passionate about making sure the residents have everything they need, and creating the lovely stripes on the lawn.
In his spare time, you'll find Graham out walking on the South Downs or the Brecon Beacons, or tending to one of his motorbikes.
Kitchen Assistant
Rhys Saunders began working with OSJCT and St Wilfrid’s Priory at the beginning of December 2022. He started working at a Bank housekeeper and found that he liked working with the team and the residents so took a permanent role in the kitchen. As a kitchen assistant, Rhys plays an important role in creating the delicious, nutritious meals that our residents so enjoy.
Laundry Assistant
Amanda Scarbrow has been with the Trust and St Wilfrid’s Priory since Oct 2022. She works as a laundry assistant and loves her job because each day is varied. Amanda enjoys chatting to the residents and have a laugh with them. She gets great satisfaction from cleaning and ironing the residents’ clothes and repairing them if needed, and she enjoys being part of a caring team.
Care Leader
Tania Woodburn started her career with St Wilfrid’s Priory four years ago as a night carer. Since then, she has progressed to become a care lead and has been doing that job since 2021. She enjoys her role thanks to the fantastic team and lovely residents who make St Wilfrid's a very special place to work. Tania also loves having the castle on our doorstep!
Activities Co-ordinator
Cecilia Raggett is our Activities Co-ordinator at St Wilfrid’s Priory. She has been with the Trust for over 15 years. Ces, as we know her, joined us a carer and worked my way up to Activities Coordinator. She enjoys the variety that comes with her role and loves seeing the residents happy and smiling, and having fun.
