Latest update for Visitors
Here at The Orders of St John Care Trust our priority is the safety and wellbeing of residents, colleagues and visitors in our services. Following Monday’s advice by the government on the vulnerability of the over 70s we have made the difficult but responsible decision to restrict access to our homes to all but the most essential visitors required to either to protect the health of our residents, or to ensure that buildings remain safe and essential supplies are delivered. A warm welcome to our home
Set in a beautiful Grade II listed castle, our home environment has been designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents and incorporates a number of features to promote warmth and a sense of tranquillity. St Wilfrids Priory Care Home specialises in Residential and Respite Care.
- Long Term Residential
- Residential Respite
The home has been designed with wellbeing and comfort in mind. A cosy lounge and seating areas are available to relax in, as are the secure gardens to take advantage of sunny days.
St Wilfrid’s Priory Care Home offers a delightful home environment split across two floors. The private bed-sitting rooms take advantage of the stunning views and offer a peaceful oasis. The home offers large comfortable homely living areas with stunning views of the historic castle and gardens, where residents can join in with the wide range of activities taking place on a daily basis.
The individual bedrooms each offer a sitting area, an emergency 24 hour call system and plenty of space for residents personalise rooms. Some rooms have en-suite facilities, wet rooms and kitchenette areas.
" She was very caring in the questioning allowing Joy ample time to respond. She often used appropriate reference to herself , without disclosing anything inappropriate, which clearly reassured my Mother in law. Because of her attitude Joy managed to answer everything herself, which obviously made her feel in control. I have to say I think Tiffany’s professional behaviour has meant my mother in law – who was a little ambivalent and anxious about the idea of coming into the home again - is now positively looking forward to her two weeks.
