At Langford View we offer compassionate, individualised residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for up to 60 residents in comfortable, and modern households. We believe our professional expert care team are the best peopleto provide the personal care you need.
Opened in 2012, Langford View offers dedicated, person-centred care in a peaceful cul-de-sac a short distance from the popular Bicester Village designer outlet and close to local amenities and transport links. The specialist home environment incorporates a number of features that promote reminiscence as
therapy and enhance the quality of life of people living with dementia.
About the Home
Langford View offers a comfortable and homely environment. The private bedrooms are your personal haven and there are cosy living areas in each of the households, along with kitchenettes and dining rooms. If you are joining us for respite care you will be able to enjoy all of the facilities, which include your own en-suite bedroom, our delicious home‑cooked meals and daily activities.

Langford View was designed with your wellbeing and comfort in mind. You can relax in a choice of bright, cosy lounges and take advantage of sunny days in the tranquil, secure garden. Interesting social activities take place daily for your enjoyment and your own spacious bed-sitting room, with en-suite ‘wet
room’ shower facilities offers a peaceful oasis when you’d like a little more privacy.

The rooms at Langford View are a personal haven for each of the residents. Each room offers a private bed-sitting room, an emergency 24 hour call system, personalised care 24 hours a day and plenty of space to personalise your room.

Our ground floor has a dedicated nursing unit catering for up to 23 residents in single en suite bedrooms and our first floor is a specialist dementia care centre catering for 37 residents. Our aim is to provide high quality person-centred care and services to everyone with dignity respect and compassion. We support independence in an atmosphere of warmth, security, companionship and laughter.
Relax or socialise with friends and family in one of the comfortable lounges, or enjoy the peace and quiet of your own spacious bed-sitting room. We are fortunate to have landscaped gardens, easily accessible by wheelchair, so everyone can enjoy the beautiful flowers, plants and trees throughout the year.
Food and Nutrition
A talented chef and kitchen team prepare tasty, home-cooked meals. The freshly prepared, delicious dishes are carefully balanced to get the best nutritional value, and cater for individual dietary requirements and preferences. Seasonal produce is chosen whenever possible and of course, relatives and friends are always welcome to join. The menus change daily and the kettle is always on, so hot drinks are available throughout the day.
You are free to take your meals in your room if you wish, or, to enjoy your food in a more social environment, you can join other residents in the kitchenette and dining areas found in each of the households. You are also encouraged to help prepare your own food, and to make snacks whenever you feel a bit peckish.
Our dedicated Activities Co-ordinator organises a wide programme of events around each person’s requests, hobbies and interests. We will be delighted to assist you to continue with existing hobbies, as well as give you the opportunity to try something new if you would like to. We make sure everyone can enjoy themselves to the fullest, be that with arts and crafts, a coffee morning or more individual pursuits. Visits from outside entertainers happen regularly and the home also has its own minibus for trips out and about. Each resident receives one-to-one time with the Activities Co-ordinator and together they will work
on their own personal activity plan and goals.
A typical daily activity schedule might include any of the following:

All of our Care Team are professionally qualified and trained to the highest standards. Every member of the team holds the Care Certificate.
The Care Team at Langford View consists of the Home Manager, Head of Care, Activities Co-ordinator, Dementia Lead, Carers, Bursar, Admiral Nurse, Housekeeping Team and the homes Chef.
