Opened in August 2015, this modern development has 40 spacious apartments with stylish ensuite facilities (36 one bedroom apartments are available to rent with 4 two bedroom apartments that can be purchased on a shared ownership basis). Every apartment has a lounge area and adjoining fitted kitchenette and "wet room" style bathrooms, equipped with shower, wash basin and toilet.

Domiciliary Care Manager
As head of the scheme, the Manager ensures the smooth running of the scheme and that all the team are providing the best possible environment for every client.

Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager
Experts in all aspects of care, the Team Leader is focused on the care delivered in the scheme and quality of life for all clients.

Dementia Lead
Responsible for ensuring everyone is up-to-date on the latest learning on dementia and for championing the best quality care for clients with dementia.

Carers
Our professional and expertly trained Carers are on hand around the clock to ensure all clients enjoy a fulfilling and independent lifestyle.

Admiral Nurse
Registered nurses, who are supported by Dementia UK, specialise in dementia care and are available to support families and carers of those affected by dementia.

Domiciliary Care Manager

Samantha Ellis has been with The Orders of St John Care Trust for over eleven years. She began her journey as a Housekeeping Assistant and gradually progressed through various departments to her current position as Domiciliary Care Manager for two Extra Care Housing Schemes – Centurion House and Mayott House.

Samantha’s knowledge of care is broad and comprehensive, allowing her to speak passionately on a wide range of related topics. In addition to her work in care, she is also a qualified Accountant and Chef and dedicates time to volunteering for Help for Heroes. Samantha enjoys socialising with friends, attending music concerts, and going to the cinema.

Enrico Gurion

Care Leader

Enrico Gurion has been with the Trust for over four years. He started as a Carer and was quickly promoted to Care Leader. His experience spans across different service user needs, from nursing and dementia to varying levels of independence in residential care. Enrico holds an NVQ Level 3 and a Level 5 BTEC Higher National Diploma in Health and Social Welfare for Adults, qualifications he earned while working in nursing homes. 

He places high value on teamwork, empathy, and promoting choice and equality. Outside of work, Enrico enjoys playing basketball with his son - a sport that has reinforced his commitment to teamwork and handling pressure.
