Be part of the Big Help Out
Virtual Volunteer Information Session on Bank Holiday Monday 8 May, 10 –10.45am

Roll up your sleeves and help out in your community!
At OSJCT we are supporting The Big Help Out to showcase how volunteering benefits both communities and the people who give their time.
The campaign encourages a National Day of Volunteering on Monday 8 May 2023, on the bank holiday for His Majesty King Charles III’s Coronation. Its longer-term aim is to get more people volunteering who traditionally don’t consider it.
Volunteers make a real difference to the lives of those that live with us. Whether it be offering them friendship through regular visits or supporting them with a shared hobby or interest, our volunteers help us create happy and fun homes for our residents!
We have a range of interesting and rewarding roles, so we’re sure to have something to suit your interests and flexible enough to fit with the time you want to give.
Join us to find out more. We’re hosting a Virtual Volunteer Information Session on Bank Holiday Monday 8 May, 10 –10.45am. You can confirm your place using The Big Help Out app, or by emailing us directly at volunteer@osjct.co.uk
Can’t wait that long? Why not hear directly from some of our current volunteers, Clare, Lynn and Chris who tell us why they enjoy volunteering with us.
Raring to go? You can apply today, simply search for a role near you and join the hundreds of volunteers already giving their time to support older people.
