Hartsholme House stands in spacious gardens and with a private entrance to the beautiful Hartsholme Park on the outskirts of the historic city of Lincoln.
Offering compassionate, individualised residential and dementia care for up to 44 residents, at Hartsholme House our residents' well-being and comfort is our prime focus. This means that responding to their individual needs is our top priority, so we are very proud to have received an "Outstanding" rating in this category in our last CQC (Care Quality Commission) inspection.

Your comfort and well-being are our prime focus. You can continue to enjoy an active and independent lifestyle secure in the knowledge that our friendly, professionally trained staff team is on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week to give you the high quality support you need, when you need it.
The spacious and comfortable lounges provide ideal places to relax or socialise with friends and family. The varied programme of events, outings and activities arranged by our Activities Co-ordinator is arranged around each person's hobbies, interests and requests. From arts and crafts, quizzes and baking to musical entertainment or gardening, we make sure everyone is able to enjoy themselves to the fullest.
Delicious meals and snacks are freshly prepared in our own kitchen by our professional cook and kitchen team. They pride themselves on serving a wide selection of home-cooked, tasty dishes, carefully balanced to get best nutritional value and using seasonal ingredients whenever possible. Of course, any individual dietary requirements and preferences are also catered for.

The team has demonstrated an outstanding on-going achievement in providing high quality, compassionate, personalised care, to support people to live well with dementia within the care environment and that there is an on-going commitment from all team members to uphold excellence in dementia care. This accreditation is endorsed by Dementia UK.
Awarded for attaining internal audit score of 100% relating to the management of Infection Prevention and Control within the care home environment, promoting resident health and safety, achieving a high level of cleanliness and documented evidence that this standard is an everyday way of life within the service, recognising that clean care is safer care.
Awarded for attaining an internal audit score of 100% in this area of care delivery, this award evidences the whole team’s commitment to quality and the safety and well-being of their residents. Achieving this award validates that medication is managed by competent and trained employees, that medication is safely and effectively ordered, stored, administered, monitored, reviewed and disposed of in accordance with all best practice guidance and current legislation.
