OSJCT St Wilfrid’s Priory has been recognised as ‘Good’ across the board for services of care, safety, effectiveness, responsiveness, and being well-led.

This is the second time in a row that St Wilfrid’s priory has been recognised as ‘Good’. However this is the first year being awarded ‘Good’ across all services.

We are delighted by this recognition and thankful for all the hard work delivered by our colleagues to ensure this independently endorsed success. The knowledge that our residents are happy and receiving the best possible care with individual needs being met.

Rachael Staker, Home Manager of St Wilfrid’s Priory comments: “I couldn’t be happier, we all know the hard work we put in to deliver person centred care to our residents. This report shows just how passionate and caring every single member of staff is. I am proud to be part of a team that every day works to make the lives of our residents that much better.” Rachel also added that their next goal is to be recognised as outstanding for their care, this is the highest possible rating by CQC. However, she believes that they are very capable of doing so.
