About the Home
St Wilfrid’s Arundel Priory offers a delightful home environment split across two floors. The private bed-sitting rooms take advantage of the stunning views and offers a peaceful oasis. The home offers three large comfortable homely living areas with stunning views of the historic castle and gardens, where you
can join in with the wide range of activities taking place on a daily basis.
Wellbeing and comfort
The home has been designed with your wellbeing and comfort in mind. Cosy lounges are available to relax in, as are secure gardens to take advantage of on sunny days. If you would like a little more privacy, we have a summer house that offers a peaceful oasis for visitors.
A friendly, professionally trained team
A friendly, professionally trained team are on hand around the clock to give you the support you need when you need it. If you like to lead a fulfilling and independent lifestyle, we are here to help you, however you wish to spend your day. The team is composed of the Home Manager, Dementia Lead, Activities Co-ordinator, Carers, Admiral Nurse, Care Leads, Housekeeping Team, Chef and a Handy Person.
We understand how important it is to have daily activities to take part in and enjoy. Our dedicated Activities Co-ordinator organises a wide programme of events around each person’s requests, hobbies and interests. The team will be delighted to assist you to continue with existing hobbies, as well as give you the opportunity to try something new if you would like to. They make sure everyone can enjoy themselves to the fullest, be that with arts and crafts, a coffee morning or more individual pursuits, and visits from outside entertainers. Each resident receives one-to-one time with the Activities Co-ordinator and together they will work on your own personal activity plan and goals.

Tasty, home cooked meals
A talented chef and kitchen team prepare tasty, home-cooked meals. The freshly prepared, delicious dishes are carefully balanced to get the best nutritional value, and cater for individual dietary requirements and preferences. Seasonal produce is chosen whenever possible and of course, relatives and friends are always welcome to join. The menus change daily and the kettle is always on, so hot drinks are available throughout the day.
A personal dining experience
You are free to take your meals in your room if you wish or you can join other residents in the main dining hall to enjoy your food in a more social environment.
