Services offered: Residential Care

Watersmead combines a tranquil setting with the convenience of a short walk into the town centre of Westbury. Westbury is a an old town nestling at the foot of its famous White Horse hill-carving. It has a small selection of local shops, a park, library, restaurants, public houses and churches.

We provide the help and support residents need to lead an independent and fulfilling life.

About the Home

Watersmead offers homely accommodation in single bed-sitting rooms, all on one level.

There is a large communal dining room, where our in-house chef and her kitchen team serve delicious home-cooked meals.  These are carefully prepared to take advantage of seasonal produce wherever possible and to ensure the best nutritional value, as well as to take into account individual dietary requirements and preferences.

From the dining room there is easy access to a courtyard garden where many residents like to sit during the warmer weather. The landscaped sensory garden, with its summer house is also very popular with both residents and their visitors.  In addition, there is a smaller seating area overlooking the fish pond and a larger lounge where residents are encouraged to join in with the activities taking place there.  The wide ranging programme is organised by our dedicated Activity Co-ordinator to ensure that everyone can enjoy themselves to the fullest, be that in individual or group activities.  There are also regular outings and visits by outside entertainers.

Our friendly and professionally trained staff are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide the support you need when you need it.

The best way for you to find out more about all we can offer you is to come and see for yourself.  Contact us to make an appointment - we'll be delighted to welcome you.
