World Alzheimer’s Month is an international campaign which runs every September to raise awareness of dementia and to challenge the stigma that surrounds the disease. This cause is close to the hearts care home residents and their relatives, and is a priority for Lake House Care Home and Day Centre in Adderbury.

Home Manager, Lyndsay Sard, was delighted to be given the opportunity recently to speak to Radio Horton about Larkrise Care Centre in Banbury, operated by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT).

Residents at Spencer Court have been enjoying a range of socially-distanced activities over the past few weeks, organised by Activities Coordinator, Samantha Light. 

The team at Spencer Court Care Home in Woodstock is used to providing high quality care for its residents but things took an unusual turn when they stepped in to save an injured bird.
