OSJCT Moments
With so many precious moments happening in and around our homes each day, what better way to document it than in a weekly, bite-size story that can be shared with and enjoyed by everyone. Here are some of the inspired moments of joy our residents, teams and communities have been appreciating recently.
Edwardstow Court residents have been having fun with their magic table
Residents at Edwardstow Court in Stow-on-the-Wold have been using their interactive projection system to play games and music - and generally, have fun!
Residents are able to play a wide variety of games including football, splat the spot, penny roll and even quizzes. The magic ‘table’ is mobile and can be used in residents’ rooms on the bed or on the floor in their room
Richard was getting everyone in the spirit for VE Day Eresby Hall.
VE Day celebrations at Edwardstow Court
Residents and the team sang wartime songs including, ‘Pack Up Your Troubles’, ‘It’s a Long Way to Tipperary’, and of course, ‘We’ll Meet Again’ by Dame Vera Lynn. The team read out poems from the 1940's and everyone fell silent for two minutes at 11am to remember loved ones who had been lost during the years of conflict.
