OSJCT Moments
With so many precious moments happening in and around our homes each day, what better way to document it than in a weekly, bite-size story that can be shared with and enjoyed by everyone. Here are some of the inspired moments of joy our residents, teams and communities have been appreciating recently.
Thank you Tesco, A&C Fish Bar and Subway!
Tesco in Brackley delivered these beautiful blooms for residents at Larkrise Care Centre, which also received food from A&C Fish Bar in Banbury and the Gaydon branch of Subway.
Donations for Gregory House and Oxlip House!
Gregory House employees were touched by the Local Community District Nurse Team sending them a carrot cake to say thank you for their ongoing support, and the care team at Oxlip House really appreciated a care package of snacks and toiletries donated by the local community.
Keeping in Contact at Ridgeway House
The team at Ridgeway House connected the laptop to the television so residents could see all the messages, letters and pictures that had been sent into the home. They particularly enjoyed watching a video a local childminder had sent in of the children singing.
Keeping in Contact at Watersmead
Residents at Watersmead really enjoyed looking through pictures sent in by 11-year-old Charlie from Westbury.
Keeping in Contact at Buckland Court
Youngsters from Amesbury after-school club made an extra special visit to Buckland Court before schools closed but after restrictions were placed on the home. The children, who are usually regular visitors, popped by to wave goodbye as they wouldn't be able to see residents for a little while. The residents loved seeing their pictures, cards and smiling faces.
Old Station House received a delivery of 43 large Easter egg
Old Station House received a much-appreciated delivery of 43 large Easter eggs for residents and a care package for its care team from the local Waitrose.
