OSJCT Moments
With so many precious moments happening in and around our homes each day, what better way to document it than in a weekly, bite-size story that can be shared with and enjoyed by everyone. Here are some of the inspired moments of joy our residents, teams and communities have been appreciating recently.
Autumnal apple prints
The home's autumn display is taking shape, and residents enjoyed getting creative with their apple printed pumpkins. It was lovely being creative, having a cup of tea and most importantly having fun!!
Lake House introduces Meal Of The Week to their menu
Introducing the first Lake Hosue Meal Of The Week - a delicious massaman curry cooked by talented kitchen assistant, Dao, to an authentic Thai recipe. ??? Lake House resident, Major, has spent more time living in Asia than he has in England and said he felt like he was "at home again" after sampling the dish.
Autumn colour in the garden
Residents made the most of the late summer sunshine and planted some lovely arrangements for some autumn colour in the garden
Celebrating academic achievements
Congratulations and well done to Mandy and Tracey who have both achieved their Level 3 Diploma in Dementia. We are so proud of them both on this fantastic achievement!
We are the Champions
Bill, resident at Marston Court, dressed as Freddie Mercury from Queen to get into character as residents learned a new song.
VJ Day Celebrations at Chestnut Court
Chestnut Court took the opportunity to celebrate VJ Day by going back to the 1940s. The team went all out with music, food, fancy dress and decorations all designed to be reminiscent of the time.
