OSJCT Moments
With so many precious moments happening in and around our homes each day, what better way to document it than in a weekly, bite-size story that can be shared with and enjoyed by everyone. Here are some of the inspired moments of joy our residents, teams and communities have been appreciating recently.

Val's dedication, compassion and kindness to all of our residents over the years was outstanding. She was a great colleague to work with and will be truly missed by all of us.
Enjoy your well-deserved retirement Val! ❤️??

Loved ones reunited at Grace Care Centre
One of our residents was delighted to see her very close friend, Ruth, after months apart. They both enjoyed a catch up over a cup of tea and a biscuit. It is fantastic to see smiles on faces as loved ones are reunited again.
Grace Care Centre reaps benefits of innovative Magic Table
A cutting-edge Magic Table has been introduced into Grace Care Centre over the past few weeks. The digital touch-screen device allows users to play interactive games and has been proven to encourage social and physical stimulation.
The product is also portable, which has proven particularly useful at a time when lockdown measures across the country have made it difficult to run varied activity programmes.
Leanne Duffety, Head of Dementia Care at Grace Care Centre, said: “Since the introduction of our Magic Table a few weeks ago, we have seen a positive effect on the well-being of our residents with reduced anxiety, apathy and restlessness.”
